I'm now accepting students for private instruction in the Pasadena/Glendale/LA area. I teach electric rock/blues guitar and classical/flamenco guitar. All levels are welcome.

The lessons are individualized and tailored according to the student's skill level and goals. Lessons cover, but are not limited to, the following topics:

  • Technical exercises (left and right hand accuracy, strength and dexterity)

  • Fretboard theory and harmony (scales, modes, chord construction and their relationships)

  • Soloing and improvisation concepts

  • Tone production, Guitar EFX programming and setup, nail care

  • Rhythm playing and styles

  • Musical interpretation and treatment
